  • The caregiver or doula — looking for real tools, real training, & a community that understands this work

  • The professional seeking certification — to provide existing clients & patients with doula & legacy care that will redefine their end of life experience.

  • The person writing toward someone they haven't met yet — a future partner, a child not yet born, the self they're still becoming.

  • Anyone who believes that love deserves somewhere beautiful to live — before, during & long after loss

The Irish Goodbye App

A private, beautifully designed space to write letters, record your voice, and save photos and videos for the people you love, or for yourself. Four doors, one archive, and a warm place to keep your love safe. For those leaving something behind. For those carrying grief. For doulas guiding clients through their legacy. And for those writing toward someone they haven't found yet. Every entry is private, protected, and yours — delivered whenever the time is right, or kept forever, just for you.

End of Life Doula & Legacy Advisor
Certification Program

A fully online, self-paced certification program built for those called to help people die well, grieve honestly, and leave something lasting behind. Two tracks: end-of-life doula care and legacy advising - covering everything from bedside presence and cultural traditions to guided legacy sessions, Goodbye gatherings, and how to build a sustainable practice. Includes 19 modules (with audio lessons), 33 professional resources, the Legacy Prompt Library & App access with client care.

Personal, Legacy &
Memory Support Websites

Three private, beautifully designed digital spaces. The Memory Support Website anchors someone living with memory loss in the names, faces, and routines that make them who they are. The Living Legacy gathers the stories, letters, and love of an entire community while someone is still here to receive it. The Lasting Legacy is built in someone's own voice while they are alive — and delivered to the people they love after they are gone.

Living Legacy

Creating a Living Legacy Hub

For daily living, sharing family or personal moments, to be supported, loved and celebrated while everyone is here to receive it. A communal, private space to gather to leave stories, letters, and love notes while the honoree gets to read every word. The most joyful product Irish Goodbye offers.

Lasting Legacy

Designed for those left behind

Built in someone's own voice while they are alive, for delivery to the people they love after they are gone. Letters, voice recordings, milestone messages for wedding days, graduations and first Christmases without them. The most significant place to visit, pairs well with the Irish Goodbye app to continue expressing love on the good, bad, and hard days after loss.

Remembrance Village

The Legacy of a Lifetime

The fourth dimension. Built after loss, by the Doula, as a gift to the family. Not a memorial, a Village. A place that grows over time as more stories arrive, where a candle is lit every anniversary, where there is a private form for the things that still need to be said to the person who is gone. Permanent. Living. Cared for.

Our Products

Imagine walking through your childhood home and finding a small, numbered sticker on the back of an old mahogany clock. You type  your phone, and suddenly, your father’s voice fills the room. He isn't just telling you it’s an antique; he’s telling you about the day he bought it, why he wanted you to have it, and the love that ticks within every second.

At Irish Goodbye, we believe that the things we leave behind are only as valuable as the stories they carry. Our products are designed to help your loved ones create a living legacy that speaks long after the final goodbye.

The Irish Goodbye Cottage
Coming Someday

Imagine a place designed entirely around life's final chapter, where the beds are actually comfortable, the light is soft and warm, no one is watching the clock, and luxury means being deeply cared for.

The Irish Goodbye Cottage is designed as an all-inclusive, extended-stay sanctuary nestled on a collaborative multi-acre property in the Illinois hills. Designed for individuals and families navigating end-of-life with intention and unhurried grace,  the Cottage will offer bedside Doula care by Kayla Grieve, thoughtful culinary support by her Chef and Innkeeping husband Michael, and a full suite of restorative offerings including equine therapy, sound bathing, and programs designed to reduce anxiety, support families, and create dignity in transition.

The Cottage is the physical extension of everything Irish Goodbye has always been — a safe place to rest, built on the belief that endings deserve as much care, intention, and beauty as any beginning.

The Cottage is currently seeking aligned Partners, Investors and Donors.
